to practice the skills
you need before you graduate.
Our lab facilities were designed in
consultation with industry professionals to enable
you to gain experience with the situations you’ll
encounter in your career.
- Heating equipment including
heat pumps and air handlers.
- A wide range of industry-standard simulators
with household names like Carrier, Lennox, Trane
and York.
- Cooling equipment, from small room air-conditioners
to large central air and commercial units.
- Refrigeration units including
commercial freezers and refrigerators, walk-in
boxes and chillers.

Facilities Management Laboratories
An expert building maintenance professional must be skilled at maintaining and
repairing a broad range of domestic and commercial equipment and appliances.
The design of TCI’s BMT laboratories was driven by this fact and includes:
- Domestic and commercial appliance
labs with such names at Maytag, General Electric,
Kenmore, Whirlpool, and Hotpoint.
- Skill-related labs where you will gain hands-on
experience with carpentry, plumbing, HVAC/R, and
electrical maintenance and servicing.
- Workstations where you can work with a framed
out lavatory and a completely wired electrical
troubleshooting station.
